Q: When does the parade begin?
A: The parade approaches at 8:55 am, but the Parade Prelude of on-street entertainment begins at 7:30 am, immediately after the roads close.
Q: When should I arrive?
A: If you are sitting on 9 Ave, you should be seated by 8:30 am. If you have seats along 6 Ave you should be seated by 9:00 am.
Q: Where does the parade begin?
A: The parade begins at 9 Avenue at 1 Street SE and runs west to 10 Street SW. The parade then runs north to 6 Avenue and travels eastbound until 3 Street SE.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Most parking lots in downtown are inaccessible due to the closure of 6th and 9th Avenues at 7:30 am. We recommend taking the CTrain, or else arrive early and be prepared to walk as parking can be a challenge to find.

A: The Stampede Parade is attended by over 250,000 people and is televised nationally.

A: Each year, we average more than 3,500 people in the main parade. This includes upwords of 20 marching bands, 750 horses and over 35 floats.
